Dorset County Hospital selects SMART for staff bank management - 28/12/2008

SMART is pleased to announce Dorset County Hospital NHS Foundation Trust as the latest NHS Trust to select its new Bank Staff Management system released in September 2008.

Dorset County Hospital joins Lincolnshire Teaching Primary Care Trust and Northampton General Hospital NHS Trust as users of the new SMART bank system that is a stand alone module of the eHL eRostering and time and attendance solution, now in use across 24 NHS Trusts.

Melanie Hindley, Nurse Bank Administration Manager at the Trust said, "We were looking to replace our Go-Nursing system and future proof our Trust with a solution that links to ESR and is supported by a supplier with a growing presence in the NHS. The decision to select a system from SMART does this and enables us to allocate available bank staff based on skill profiles held in ESR, which are fed through to the SMART bank system".
