NHS Workforce Solutions Community secure 12 new contracts in first quanter of 2010 - 05/05/2010

A group of software providers, working exclusively together to provide workforce management software solutions to the NHS today announced 12 new contracts signed in the first quarter of 2010. SMART/HMT together with partners Zircadian and Software Europe have built a comprehensive offering specifically for the NHS covering rostering for doctors, nurses and other staff, staff bank management, time and attendance, payroll interface to ESR and expenses management.

Poole Hospital has selected SMART's e-rostering and bank management software and Hywel Dda Local Health Board has selected HMT for e rostering and bank management, whilst NHS Barnet has selected SMART for hosted bank management services under the London Procurement Project Framework. 60 NHS trusts now use SMART/HMT's workforce management solutions.

North Bristol NHS Trust, Trafford Healthcare NHS Trust, The Royal Bournemouth and Christchurch Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust and Royal Berkshire NHS Foundation Trust have all selected Software Europe's expenses2010 for the NHS.

Zircadian's doctors' rostering software has now also been selected by Bedford Hospital NHS Trust, South Essex Partnership NHS Foundation Trust, and Leicestershire Partnership NHS Trust. This is in addition to the two organisations already piloting the system: Nottingham University Hospitals NHS Trust and The Royal Bournemouth and Christchurch Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust. 109 NHS organisations use Zircadian's rota management software for junior doctors; purchase of the new e-rostering module provides a valuable addition to this solution and is the next logical step for clients wanting to roster their doctors flexibly but safely.
